malnourished, diseased, and dying. Damage
to ecosystems in the area remained years
after the war ended. What would be the

United State army forces and their ally has begun
to strike Iraq at 02.30 GMT. Bombing raids on Iraq
started last night. This war is a travesty and a
tragedy. There is no UN mandate and no justification.
Just "we can, so we will". The US allied
is participating in bombing a country which they
bombed and starved for 12 years and whose population
are 42% children. The US and UK sought unsuccessfully
to have another resolution passed authorizing force
against Iraq. Without such authorization, the war
against Iraq is illegal. |
